YEMA's signature #TimeofHeroes dates from 1970. It reflects the history and values of the brand and what it stands for. It tells the adventures of remarkable sportsmen and explorers who have achieved the extraordinary under the most extreme conditions. In 1982 Jean-Loup Chrétien became the first Western-European sent into space. He was accompanied by YEMA's first space chronograph. In 1985 NASA's Discovery shuttle took off with Patrick Baudry on board and his YEMA on his wrist for the first Franco-American orbital flight mission.
